Fantastic Cabin Vardehaugen in Fosen Norway by Fantastic Norway Architect

Filed Under: Resort House, Small Houses Fantastic Cabin Vardehaugen in Fosen Norway by Fantastic Norway Architect

Cabin Vardehaugen was built upon rocky hillside in outermost coast of Fosen in Norway. This small cabin really looks unique with the polygonal shaped. The family retreat house is entirely made with wood, finished in black color and has a touch of minimalist approach throughout the interior design. The retreat villa by the hillside is made by Oslo-based Fantastic Norway Architects where this getaway villa is their first private residential project. The house is completely alone and the environment is really quiet where all you can hear is the wind blowing and the nice spectacular view of the sea.

The architects strategically sited the house this way to take advantage, giving the three bedrooms, living and dining areas and several outdoor areas natural entertainment. We love the geometry of the building and how it’s built on rocky hillside which is definitely not easy to build. The color play of black and white really plays the inhabitants feel on the cabin exterior and interior to define the spaces given to them.
