What is pleasing is to have a house that corresponds and blends well with the environment. You might never experience it but we have. This stone house front which was built in alp in Switzerland really resembles the kind of house that blends well. The front façade of this house are made totally out of rocks which are a great addition and good blends towards the rocky terrain at this mountain.
This stone house front is made by Swiss architects Markus Wespi and Jerome de Meuron. They transformed an already existed house in Ticino Mergoscia, located at Verzasca Valley, into this stone home extension as an excellent point to bring inside the breathtaking view of mountains and valleys. The rocky exterior part of this natural stone house is built exactly on the hillside slope, and this make it seems to stick in naturally to the mountain. You will love the clean, white palette found at this home with amazing architectural features and view.
