The most famous Latvian food brands are now available in a new product - chocolate sweets with Riga Black Balsam filling. Those who love sweets and top-quality food will love the specific and strong "Laima" taste supplemented by aromatic Riga Black Balsam.
Riga Black Balsam is a 110-year-old unique Latvian beverage which was granted the title of "Latvia's Most Unique Brand" this year. The "Laima" chocolate company was also created 140 years ago.
The dark chocolate sweets with Balsam creme filling and milk chocolate sweets with Balsam creme liquer were placed on Latvian, as well as Russian and EU markets in end-November. In total, the "Laima" company exports its production to 25 countries.
The sweets contain 2.7% of Riga Black Balsam so they are marked "Not for Children". The new type of chocolate is available either boxed or as separate weighable units.
