The Dixon House here is located in New Zealand, precisely in Martinborough. The retreat house was designed by Stapleton Elliot. This house was built on top of an established residential adjacent to the golf course. The house itself was intentionally built north to catch the nice green field scenery that slopes up from the road.
Stapleton built the weekend home occupying as large as 5,000 square meters and with the wide spaces given it sure is a nice getaway home to relax with your family and friends, escaping the busy city life and enjoy more of rural landscape. The house middle part construction purposely elevated for up to 2 meters giving a good vista on the Wairarapa mountain while if you face the north east, you can also see the golf course.
The home houses 3 pavilions and it’s also a house for one master bedroom suite, open floor plan living room and dining room, a good focal point of fireplaces, and a nice backyard for your kids to play around Crickets or Football. It’s an adorable way to enjoy the hot Wairarapa summers isn’t it? Visit Designgroup Stapleton Elliott for further information.
